The frenzy over a four-year-old artist
I just watched the documentary My Kid Could Paint That by director Amir Bar-Lev about four-year-old Marla Olmstead, whose precociously painted abstract paintings have captivated people around the world. In the course of filming the documentary, a 60 Minutes feature airs that questions whether Marla actually painted them by herself, and Bar-Lev is forced to grapple with the doubts that arise as well as the meaning of his own film.
